Company history

In 1993, RID Group started to develop innovative commercial real estate projects in Vienna and Lower Austria.

The rapidly expanding real estate portfolio led to the founding of RID Holding GesmbH in early 1997, intended to combine the various project interests and activities of the RID Group.

In 1999, the business activities were expanded from the base of retail stores, shopping centers and gas stations, to also include developments of parking garages and special purpose properties such as distribution centers as well as municipal facilities.

The development of exclusive residential properties has become our business focus during the early 2000’s, and since then is considered the core competence of the RID Group. In this area, we work closely with our institutional partners to develop innovative and sustainable projects.
