Palais Fuerth (Schmidgasse 14, 1080 Vienna)

The monument protected Palais Fuerth was built in 1886-87 by the renowned Swiss architect Hans Wilhelm Auer. It was designed as a hospital for the Viennese bourgeois, before it became a branch of the U.S. Embassy in 1945.

We are currently working, in cooperation with Strauss & Partner, to carefully restore this extraordinary building to its historical splendor.

Besides its prime residential location, the Palais is characterized by its spacious floor plans, high-ceiling rooms and the grand private garden. The most distinctive feature of the Palais, though, is its peaceful silence in the center of Vienna.
